What Is Exterior Washing?
Exterior washing is the process of cleaning all the visible surfaces on a building’s exterior — walls, siding, brick, stucco, trim, gutters, roofs, decks, awnings, windows, and more. It’s not just about “making things look clean.” The goal is to:
1. Remove organic growth (mold, mildew, algae)
2. Dissolve dirt, oxidation, stains, and airborne pollutants
3. Sanitize surfaces to inhibit regrowth
4. Preserve the integrity of the materials underneath
The method we use is soft washing — meaning low-pressure rinsing combined with eco-friendly cleaning solutions that do the heavy lifting. This differs from traditional pressure washing, which relies mostly on brute water force and can damage delicate surfaces.
